I have a verizon cell phone and want to buy a new cell off the Internet?

I want to keep verizon as the data Carrier but do not want a new contract. Is there a way to stop service to my old Samsung phone and activate the new Krave cell hone using my same current number?

sure is. you get the phone you want and call verizon from a different phone since both cells have to be off. (the old one and the new one) you tell them you want to switch phones. they will ask for the numbers under the battery and go threw some stuff with you to program it and done. that or you can just take it down to verizon and tell them you want to switch phones and they will do it. although some places charge you up to 20 bucks to change the phones out, i have never been charged and i switch phones about every 3 months.
